But most of the preference for using zinc is to prevent wear between the cams and lifters during break in and yours are not new. Personally, I think how you break in a rebuilt engine is more important than the oil you use. Lots of good advice out there, but basically run it 2500-3500 for extended periods with no load. There's a suggested patterned sequence of run ins before you actually get out onto the roadway and drive indiscriminately. Search is your friend.
